In today’s crazy world, western politicians are wasting billions of tax-payer dollars force-feeding costly unreliable green energy in the bizarre belief that this will somehow change Earth’s climate.

Even more incredible, they fear global warmth and seem hell-bent on creating global cooling. They should study climate history. It is snow and ice, cold dry air and carbon dioxide starvation we need to fear, not a warm, moist, fertile, bountiful atmosphere.

Climate change is natural and unstoppable.

Just 20,000 years ago, Earth was in one of its recurring glacial phases. A thick massive ice sheet smothered Canada, Alaska, Iceland, Greenland, North Asia and Europe as far south as London. Much of the animal and plant life of the previous warm era was extinguished. Even in warmer lands not covered by the ice sheet, plants suffered as the cold oceans removed moisture and carbon dioxide plant food from the atmosphere.

Then, because of changing cycles in Earth’s orbit and tilt, reinforced by changing solar cycles, the sun warmed the frozen lands. The great ice sheets melted, sea levels rose and the warming oceans expelled moisture and CO2 plant food into the atmosphere. Plant life recovered. Tundra, forests, grasslands and herbivores advanced towards the pole and fish became abundant in the shallow seas that flooded coastal plains. Hunters, herders, farmers and fishermen followed the food.

Human population increased greatly. They gave thanks for the warmth, and worshipped the sun.

But the peak of the modern warm era is past, and the natural cycles controlling global temperatures are pointing downwards.

Only an idiot with a death wish for life on Earth would attempt to accelerate our inevitable descent into the next ice age.

Luckily, their costly war on warmth is totally futile, but their war on carbon energy will prove tragically misguided in the cold times ahead.

I would like to see the aerosol spraying of poisonous chemicals stopped. All over the World countless tons of this crap are sprayed into the air we breath in a futile attempt to affect the atmospheric temperatures. On spraying days the stuff stretches from horizon to horizon and it will stay there all day. As with 9-11 the lies about it are blatant and unbelievable. They try to explain them away as con trails, the high altitude ice crystals that follow a jet for a short distance before they melt. So many people are having unexplained health problems I feel this issue is urgent and a proper investigation overdue. If this problem turns out to be the new asbestos it will be denials all round, feigned concern, lies lies lies, and she'll be right mate...I'll see ya up the Pub...

Viv is right about global warming being a cyclical phenomenon. Circa 2000BC there was a climatic change. Archaeologists excavating around the Fertile Crescent have discovered a layer of dust which indicates a very dry period for an extended number of years. It was probably the cause of the “Hyksos” migrating to Egypt for survival. Then around 500 BC there was the “Roman Period” which lasted for quite a few decades. This is the time that Greenland earned its name. Crops were planted and grapes were even grown. For this to happen there must have been an increase in temperature of between 6 and 10 degrees Celsius. The next warm period was called the “Medieval Period” then it cooled off and in the 18th and 19th centuries we had the “Mini Ice Age.” The exact cause of this phenomenon is uncertain. It has something to do with the variations in the earth’s orbit and of course the sun. Volcanic eruptions and huge ash clouds may have also played a part at some time. I have been following Viv for some years now and cannot fault him. Viv paints a picture from a scientific view. Mine is a historical view.

Sweetpea, you are preaching to the converted. I have seen enough of him to know he is no good and a stooge.

As I said, Fed Immigration is the first offender, the accessory to the ongoing crime is Andrews. Don't toss the hot potato between each other and pretend you are both not culpable.

They are both culpable, letting them in the country and then protecting and covering for them when they show you up for your gross negligence.

MarkM - Andrews is on the nose - he had a golden opportunity to stand up and be a leader - he shirked it and will pay for it. Even the sheeple understand that $1B down the drain on a cancelled contract that he now proposes to reinstate is beyond the pail.

Geeze ladyP - it would be kinder to use them as shark bait.... (:-)

CB, you probably have something there. The pieces fit that's for sure. I wonder if they will ever catch on to the fact that the ones being murdered are less likely to be the fit and healthy workers and more likely to be the lazy welfare leeches.

WAP, the bastards know that it results in mass murders and starvation - that is their plan.

Interestingly, in the big cold hitting North America COAL is the preffered and the main producer of electricity. Natural gas is too expensive. (Wall St. Journal)

Even right now, with wind power supplying so well, that still only accounts for 8% of the total power being consumed here in Australia.

However, spread it across the last 24 hours and the average is only 1300MW. (CF – 30%, which is around the yearly average)

So, even at the very best of times, wind power can barely be referred to as a small addition to what is actually required to keep the Country running.

Now, compare that to coal fired power which IS actually delivering 75% of that current total power being consumed, more than nine times what wind at its best can deliver, so that’s every wind tower in Australia, multiplied by NINE.

Currently, wind power going ‘gangbusters’ is delivering a little less power than just Bayswater on its own.

One wind turbine generates enough energy over the course of its lifespan to build just one replacement wind turbine and cannot spare any energy to provide electricity for any other purpose. In other words wind turbines are a 100% waste of money.

In the past year alone, more than 2,000 employees in this sector have lost their jobs. Locations like Carbon Rotec in Lemwerder or Powerblades in Bremerhaven have been closed. The Hamburg wind turbine manufacturer Senvion had to go 660 full-time employees. Nordex , the second large wind power company based in the Hanseatic city, wants to cut up to 500 jobs due to eroding profits. And Enercon, the German market leader with more than 20,000 employees worldwide, recently announced “unpopular measures” to cut costs.

Read the article. Try to explain the problem in 25 words or less. As far as I can tell, for some reason, the German government cannot design enough loopholes to allow this revolutionary, cheap, technology to make a decent profit.

How's this for a relevant quote, from the geoengineering page - " Mainstream media covered the fact that Chinese scientists are engineering snowstorms, are we to believe that the US government and others aren't doing the same?

The US military is as large as the next 10 largest militaries combined, thus they have the ability to carry out climate engineering (weather warfare) operations on the largest scale by far. Not only have US military commanders stated that the disintegrating climate is the greatest national security threat, they have long since stated their objective of "owning the weather". Are we to believe that our government would ask our permission before deploying climate engineering operations? In fact, our government's own documents prove climate engineering has been ongoing

FBI Nikola Tesla Files and John. G. Trump
When reviewing the FBI Records Vault dump of October 30th through November 1st, 2016 that the Inspector General is looking into, I noticed a good deal of public interest in the Tesla Files. (Tweet 4 in the sequence of 21 tweets) Not knowing much about it myself, I decided to look into it.

Socialist theory is so well entrenched in the public service that it makes one wonder if changing the government will make any difference at all. Maybe more attention needs to be given to the bloated over paid bureaucrats if we want to see things improve in this country. How you ask? For starters 1. All senior public servants on fixed term contract (no result no job) 2. All public servants to swear an oath of aliegance to the nation and renounce all and any other loyalties (under punishment of immediate sacking if found otherwise) 3. Limit the size of the ps to no more than 5% of total employed 4. PS salaries performance based move up or down based on performance 5. Eliminate tax free travel expenses - travel and living expenses to be paid only on production of a receipt. Ideas?

Check this bloke out, he's got the kind of knackers Australians USED to have. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-42645542
