Shorten celebrated his first birthday as an insipid parvenu with a heartfelt wish to ban Putin from the G20 and Abbott wants to shirt front the diminutive Ruskie. As much as that would rate its tits off, neither is going to happen.

Putin’s arming of the Ukraine separatists makes him no more responsible for MH17 than does Obama’s arming of the Syrian rebels make him responsible for the crimes of ISIS.

Abbott’s claim that Putin would not allow access to the crash site is plain wrong. The crash site is in Ukraine not Russia and required the permission of Poroshenko who actually stepped up the bombing of his own Ukraine citizens thereby making it impossible to access the site.

Meanwhile, protesters are busy rewriting their placards to confront Putin on his arrival for the G20 but there will be no placards for Recep Tayyip Erdogan because angry uni students will not recognise him, in fact they’ve probably never heard of him.

Well, he’s the Turkey assisting the ISIS to slaughter the Kurdish townspeople of Kobane, a critically strategic city of 44,000 people on the Syrian border.

Three weeks ago Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan was hosing fleeing refugees back across the border into Syria and certain death, today he is saving ISIS the trouble and shooting them himself.

Incredibly, Turkey is not only a member of the G20, it is also a member of NATO.

Erdogan’s plan is to stand by and watch the eradication of his hated Kurds by the ISIS, allowing it to take Kobane. Only then will he permit the coalition use of his airfields in an attempt to eradicate the ISIS from his border.

Erdogan kills two birds with the one stone by doing nothing… clever!

At the moment the coalition’s pointless bombing of the ISIS is being carried out from 1,000 miles away rather than minutes from Turkey.

Seventeen thousand Kurds still remain trapped in Kobane awaiting certain slaughter. They try to escape with their families through the hundreds of severed heads littering the streets only to be mown down by ISIS's Islamic militants.

No-one will help them, not Turkey, not NATO, not the Arab States and not the West.

Sometimes it’s shameful to be a member of a first world that is more concerned with the carbon credit riches to be made from a global warming hoax.

Shorten says he will refuse to meet Putin (it’s doubtful that would offend anyone) and Abbott wants to shirt front him, yet Putin is the leader of the only nation who assists Bashar Assad’s troops on the ground to degrade the varied components of the ISIS encamped in Syria?

Oh yes I forgot, we want the tyrant Assad taken out too, don't we?

Sometimes I want to go back to sleep and wake up again to a world that makes sense.

Don’t worry 1 Commando are on the job, they are not going over for a picnic. These boys like a shooting match. They have the skills and tools. Throw the SAS, Seals, Delta and some Rangers and IS won’t know what hit them. Mossard hit squads and White Shroud, IS are in deep $hit.

What a low level piece of excreta this Flanagan is. He’s been inflicted with Granny gravel face Milne’s disease. Well t5 he didn’t have many fans at the pub but wont have many out here now either. I wouldn’t buy his fn book on principal & you are right BB he would have lost a lot of money from his stupid comments. These environment nutters are not very bright & I bet his publishers are livid with him..

Erdogan is well and truly backing ISIS….and oh what a tangled web we weave…given he is a NATO member, and that Washington just happens to have the same No 1 enemy – Assad in Syria. I just need to know… about NATO, and Turkey and all this. ISIS, the invention of NATO, CIA and MOSSAD.

Writing is a profession where there can often be long periods between pay cheques, so I wonder how often Mr Flanagan has accepted handouts (unemployment benefits) or grants from the nation he is now ashamed of?

It’s high time that Abbott realized that he is indeed the Prime Minister of Australia and behaved as a Statesman. The language used is not appropriate of a statesman.

Hey, didn’t this guy also say that when he looked like he was running out of money he was going to North Qld. to get a job in the mines? The mind boggles, doesn’t it with some of the rubbish that comes out of these writer’s mouths? One book I wont be buying.

stringy bark – I stand corrected – yes – it was ricin in the umbrella – Polonium was most likely delivered in a cup of tea. I did not think it was plutonium and failed to research deeper when I saw plutonium mentioned.

“I’m very saddened because Australia has the most extraordinary environment and I don’t understand why our government seems committed to destroying what we have that’s unique in the world,” the writer told BBC television.
“It doesn’t have to be this way. We can grow our economy but we can do so much for our extraordinary environment.”
Flanagan was then quizzed about the coalition’s decision to scrap Labor’s carbon tax.
“There are so many things and, to be frank, I’m ashamed to be Australian when you bring this up.”

heres an article on the Russian Ebola vaccine. Will you all hate Russia and Putin then? When they interupt the elites little marketing plan (given the patent on THE DISEASE EBOLA is owned by private USA companies and the USA government) http://mashable.com/2014/10/13/russia-ebola-vaccine/

stringy, the USA patented Ebola vaccine is all done, ready and waiting, until the ‘market demand’ is overwhelming, (lots of sales is the key here when we have corporation Govt), and the facebook likes are just through the roof…and then – well there will be queue’s to rival Apples newest IPhone …and Bill Gates et all will make ‘a killing’. BUT they have to develop a market first, you know… a need, an ‘I have to have it’ kind of need….so the disease must be spread. This is part of the marketing strategy. Same mob designing the ISIS one I… Read more »

Yep, just be a party to shooting down unarmed civilian commercial aircraft. What are the Dutch saying? After all they lost the majority in the MH17. It’s alright we don’t want to upset the Russian’s because they want their gas and oil. Shirt fronting is a figure of speech, at least TA has the bottle to say it, the Dutch are as weak as piss and they know it.

The Russian Ebola vaccine is around 2 months away from testing. Claimed 70% to 90% effectiveness.

alpinist, I’m not an expert on Turkish politics, but Turkey is a member of NATO, which makes them allied. They are heavily reliant on western arms, I doubt they keen to take on the west. PKK is definitely a thorn in their side. The conflict with the PKK is decades old and thousands have been killed on both sides. The situation is sticky for both the Turks, Kurds and the US. My take is which is the lesser evil, IS or PKK? But I’m with you that IS is doing Turkey’s dirty work. But, IS won’t go any where near… Read more »
